What To Expect

01

Schedule Your Lesson

Give us a call or e-mail us to schedule your lesson! Any skill levels welcome! Let us know your prior experience when you schedule so we can match you with the perfect lesson horse!

02

Arrival at the Barn

We are located at Lookout Hills Farm. Enter the driveway and take the fork to the right towards the barn, then the fork to the left past the big barn. Parking is behind the barn at the end of the driveway. When you arrive for your lesson, enter the barn through the big door to the left. Craig Cates will meet you there, or feel free to ask any of our friendly barn family for him!

03

Meet Your Instructor

Feel free to ask any questions you may have! We will discuss how the first lesson will go, and discuss your goals. Let us know if you want to ride for fun, or maybe are interested in competing. Whatever these goals may be, we’ll start with a solid riding foundation to help achieve any of them!

04

Lesson Time!

We’ll show you around the barn and take you to meet your lesson horse! We’ll spend 30 minutes showing you how to care for the horse and prepare them for the ride. Then you’ll spend 30 minutes riding! Family and friends are welcome to stay and watch!
